Content you check is never transmitted
This site has no file-upload endpoint and no scan API. When you select an image, it is opened through the browser's file API and analysed in memory by a metadata parser and a WebAssembly validator running inside your tab. When you paste text, it lives in the page's state.
We do not store scan history, create shareable report URLs, or retain filenames. Temporary object URLs used for image previews are revoked when you replace the file or leave the component, and C2PA reader resources are released after each analysis.
Because there is no server-side processing of your content, there is no dataset of your files or text for us to retain, disclose, sell, or be compelled to produce.
Advertising and third-party cookies
This site is funded by advertising. Where advertising is enabled, Google acts as a third-party vendor and uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads. You can opt out of participating third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu. Blocking cookies in your browser, or using an ad blocker, also prevents this — the site remains fully functional either way.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent message is presented before non-essential cookies are set, and your choice is respected. You can change that choice at any time through the consent control on the site.
What advertising never receives
No file, filename, file content, pasted text, cleaned text, metadata value, manifest content, provider hint, or scan result is ever passed to an advertising network, used for ad targeting, or included in any request to a third party.
Ad placements are static configuration: a fixed placement name and a numeric slot identifier, both defined in the site's source. They carry no information derived from anything you check.
Advertising is also structurally kept away from the tool. No ad unit is rendered inside the checker, next to upload or scan controls, inside results, or on this page and the other policy pages. Automatic ad placement is disabled so the network cannot insert units near the tool.
Analytics
Where analytics is enabled, it records page views and a short allow-list of generic interface events — which checker tab was viewed, that a scan started or completed, and that a copy action occurred.
Analytics never receives filenames, file contents, pasted text, cleaned text, manifest contents, metadata values, provider hints, or scan results. This is enforced by an allow-list in the code that rejects any event or property outside a fixed set, and is covered by an automated regression test.
Where Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to distinguish visits. The same opt-out mechanisms described in the advertising section apply, and blocking cookies or scripts prevents it entirely.
Server logs and infrastructure
Like nearly every hosted website, our infrastructure provider processes basic request data — IP address, user agent, requested page, and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and content delivery.
Your file bytes and pasted text are never part of those page requests, because they are never sent. A request log records that a page was loaded, not what you checked on it.
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict Content Security Policy, and security headers are applied to every response.
Your rights and contact
Because there is no account system, no scan dataset, and no advertising profile built by us, there is no personal record held here for you to access, correct, or delete.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. There is no registration, no profile, and no content submission that reaches our servers.
